Christmas Eve, December 24th, will be a day of heavy rain throughout the country, including the Algarve and Alentejo, according to the forecast of the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).
Until Sunday, excluding today when a frontal surface will bring rain to the Algarve, there will be sunshine, with temperatures between 6ºC minimum and 16ºC maximum.
On Monday, the weather starts to get worse, with cloudy skies and some possibility of rain in the districts of Faro, Beja, Évora and Setúbal.
The rain will arrive in force on Tuesday, the 24th, accompanied by a strong wind. But on Christmas Day, the rainy seasons in the South will be rarer and there is even the possibility of good openings.
