The Social Sports School of Fundação Real Madrid de Castro Marim has already started the new school year, with basketball classes for children between 6 and 10 years old.
The classes, which take place on Wednesdays and Fridays, at the Municipal Pavilion, from 17:30 pm to 19:00 pm, are coordinated by sports technicians from the Castro Marim City Council.
At the moment, the Fundação Real Madrid de Castro Marim School has a universe of 35 students, the result of a recruitment process carried out by the local authority, in conjunction with the teachers of the 1st cycle of the Castro Marim Group of Schools, respecting the integration criteria in the project, namely, the positive discrimination for participants with integration difficulties, the most disadvantaged, children with obesity problems or motor difficulties.
The Fundación Real Madrid de Castro Marim Sports School, which exists since 2012, aims at the integral development of the child's personality through the practice of sport, based on the values of friendship, healthy coexistence and solidarity.
