The 2014 Fatacil is already scheduled and will be marked by news. The 35th edition of the Lagoa Handicraft, Tourism, Agriculture, Commerce and Industry Fair will take place from 15 to 24 August of next year and “deep” changes will be promoted to guarantee the future viability of the event, announced the organization.
According to Fatasul – Feiras e Exposições do Sul, the fair is “preparing to enter a new cycle and acquire a new dynamic in 2014, through a profound restructuring of Fatacil's management model, in order to ensure its viability and future sustainability and the importance that the fair continues to have for the municipality of Lagoa in particular and for the Algarve in general».
The event intends to assume itself as a «strategic space and privileged platform for promoting the potential of the economy, cultural values, and social projects that are represented annually, in a very wide and comprehensive exhibition».
Among the changes announced is a «new, more efficient and creative communication, image and marketing strategy to sell and reinforce the Fatacil brand», which aims to «loyalize and win over new exhibitors, sponsors and audiences».
At the same time, there will be a commitment to reinforcing the quality of the main areas of Fatacil, «namely in handicraft, with a greater representation of techniques and artisans working live; in national agro-food excellence products, with particular emphasis on the Algarve Exhibition “aMARaTERRA”, in the equestrian sector, which has achieved an undeniable projection in the last two years».
