Between December 17th and 23rd, the three CHAlgarve hospitals celebrate Christmas with actions directed at professionals, users and families.
The Portimão unit started the festivities yesterday, receiving visits from students from the Manuel Teixeira Gomes School Group, who cheered users at the External Consultation and Special Exams with Christmas songs and poems.
Today, December 18, the day is marked by the now traditional "Christmas Psychiatry Bazaar", which is open from 10:00 am in the hall of the hospital in Portimão, giving visibility to the work carried out by the users of the Psychiatry Day Hospital of this unit. Windward.
Also today, but in the unit of Faro, takes place the Christmas party of the Oncology Service and the Palliative Care Unit, which come together to celebrate the season, promoting moments of interaction and decompression between professionals, hospitalized patients and their families.
The animation will be in charge of the Duo in Sol Maior, by Andeira Severino and José Carlos Severino, who in addition to ending the joint party of the Oncology Service and the Palliative Care Unit, will also visit the Pulmonology Service wards, offering a toast to hospitalized patients with Christmas songs.
Tomorrow, Thursday, Christmas is celebrated with the little ones, with the unit of Faro with the animation of the Gil Foundation volunteers who will bring Christmas stories and songs, and the Portimão unit receiving visits from players and members of the Portimonense Sporting Club technical team in the various pediatric areas (inpatient, day hospital, neonatology and pediatric emergency).
Both activities reserve a place for the expected distribution of gifts, making the youngsters happy.
Simultaneously, still on the 19th, from 15 pm onwards, the Christmas Party for professionals at the hospital in Lagos takes place, with a Christmas drama, music and distribution of gifts to users.
On Friday, the 20th, it is the turn of the Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health to promote in its facilities in Faro its Christmas Party, bringing together professionals, users and families to celebrate the court with music, dance and lots of entertainment, which ended with a snack offered by various community partners.
Closing the festivities, the infirmaries of the Faro and Portimão will be animated with traveling concerts.
Em Faro, the musical performances will once again be in charge of the Duo em Sol Maior, which, on Saturday, the 21st, will perform in all wards of the Internal Medicine Services 1 and 2 and the Orthopedics Service.
In Portimão, the musical entertainment will be conducted, on the 23rd, by a group of professionals who will release their voices, singing songs and playing Christmas songs through the services of that hospital unit.
