Loulé City Council began distributing 2 Christmas baskets to needy families in the municipality last week.
Various foodstuffs, including cod, olive oil, cheese, milk, beans, beans and bolo-rei are examples of the products that the municipality will offer until Friday, with the aim of «providing a happier Christmas Eve to families with fewer financial resources, bringing a little of the warmth of solidarity to their homes».
«For the municipal executive of Loulé, who elected the social area as one of the priorities of his action, at a difficult time for the population in general, it is urgent to respond to those who have less, contributing to alleviate the difficulties», illustrated the City Council of Loulé , in a press release.
