A new exhibition area dedicated to photography and photopainting works will open tomorrow, Thursday, at 10:30 am, at the airport of Faro. The artist and poet from Faro, Álvaro de Mendonça, will be the first to present his work in this space, located in the public departures area (check-in area 2) and available for the entire community to visit.
The «Nature for Airports» exhibition features six works in large format posters and a collection of six exclusive “poetree” postcards personalized with photographs and poetic inscriptions designed to give away to passengers and visitors.
«In this project, the artist and poet intended to develop an original and unique work, designed for the Airport of Faro, which he titled “Nature for Airports”. In the work, Álvaro de Mendonça sought to offer the airport atmosphere a poetic and visual breeze, with flowers and strong and involving colors, recreated for an imaginary and immense garden», revealed Ana Aeroportos. At the same time, the exhibition is open to the public. "Lux" by Paulo Serra, recently opened in that check-in area.
With these exhibitions, ANA continues the project «We create atmosphere, we bring worlds together», which aims to «energize communication for the passenger and the surrounding community that invests in stimulating and living multidisciplinary experiences at the airport terminal. Faro».
