The Regional Health Administration (ARS) of the Algarve has already started to pay salaries to its employees today, informed the Board of Directors of that body, in response to a question from the Sul Informação.

"ARS Algarve IP diligently processed the salaries, promptly and uncompromisingly, complying with the usual timings of its services, so that payment could be made today on November 21", informed the Press and Communication Department.

However, according to the note of the Board of Directors of the ARS, "the paying entity was unable to carry out the bank transfers in good time", having committed "to carry them out, without fail, tomorrow", that is, this Friday , Day 22.

ARS guarantees that «such delay has nothing to do with the functioning of the internal services of ARS Algarve IP, nor any change in procedures in the current month».

O Sul Informação reported this morning that «the salaries of the workers of the Regional Health Administration (ARS) of the Algarve, namely those of the Health Centres, were not paid» on the usual date, which is the 21st, but will only be paid tomorrow.

The situation was communicated by Miguel Madeira, member of the Board of Directors of the ARS, in an email sent yesterday, in the middle of the afternoon, to the executive directors of the three Algarvian Health Centers Groupings (ACES).
