The cycle “Listening to the Voices of Heritage” takes the Choir Group of the University of Algarve this Saturday, the 12th, at 18 pm, to the Chapel of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, in Raposeira (Vila do Bispo). Admission is free.
Until mid-November, voices will sing in various monuments in the Algarve, providing moments of connection to heritage through music.
The cycle continues with recitals on the 26th, at the same time, at the Igreja Matriz in Estoi (Faro), and still on November 16, at 16:30 pm, at the Church of Nossa Senhora da Graça, in the Fortaleza de Sagres.
In the words of conductor Ivelina Kavrakova-Pereira, “in honor of the composers who marked their immortality, leaving their unforgettable works to humanity, we will evolve with music and grow with culture”.
The cycle takes place within the scope of the protocol between the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and the University of Algarve.
