Quarteira's rout against Juventude Aljezurense, by 4-0, and even the defeat imposed by Silves FC on Padernense (3-0) were the highlights of the opening round of the District Championship for seniors in the 1st Division of football, which began on Saturday, October 5th.
Albufeira's Immortal, whose players and coaches had even announced that they would not be present, ended up appearing against Desportivo de Lagoa, in a match that Albufeires won 1-0.
