Of the five Algarvian teams that will compete in the 3rd Round of the Portuguese Cup, Esperança de Lagos is theoretically the team with the most complicated task to go forward, as they will face Rio Ave da Primeira Liga – the 3rd Round, is the first that has teams from the top echelon.
In the other games with teams from the Algarve, the prime-divisional Olhanense goes to Lusitano Vildemoinhos, Portimonense receives Cova da Piedade, Louletano receives Famalicão and Farense goes to Santa Maria da Feira to face Feirense.
