Luís Marques Mendes, former president of the national PSD, participates on Monday, 16 September, in the rally that marks the beginning of the PSD's electoral campaign period in the municipality of Vila do Bispo.
The action, starting at 18:30 pm at the Cultural Center of Vila do Bispo, intends to present candidates to the different municipal bodies of the municipality and culminates in a party and popular gathering.
Under the motto “Por Si e pelo Concelho”, Gilberto Viegas, who presided over the Municipality of Vila do Bispo between 1998 and 2009, is re-candidated for the presidency of this autarchy.
It presents an electoral program centered on four lines of action: Financial sustainability, Economy, Local development and Employment, Planning and Spatial Planning and Social Action, Education, Culture and Sport.
Fernando Cortes, current leader of the PSD bench in the Municipal Assembly, is the head of the list of this deliberative body.
For the Parish Assemblies, Fernando Martins is the candidate for Sagres, Dora Reis for Budens and Luís Costa for the new Parish Union of Vila do Bispo and Raposeira.
