And in the eighth round of Liga II, Farense got the first victory of the season for the championship. the team of Faro made a good performance this Saturday, against Braga B, at Estádio de São Luís and managed to collect the desired three points, by beating Minho by 2 to zero.
Farense was almost always on top of the match and took the lead in the 35th minute, after a goal scored by Rambé. The second goal came shortly after the restart, by Adelaja, who set the final score in the 50th minute.
Braga B tried to react, but showed no arguments to counter the bad result. In the final stretch of the game, Farense could have extended the result, but they didn't have enough aim.
With this result, the formation of the Algarve capital goes on to add six points in Liga 2 Cabovisão and leave the last place in the table, to condition. This turned out to be a good reaction from the Farense team, which since last week has been coached by Jorge Paixão.
The balance of the new technician is, for now, positive. In addition to this Saturday's triumph, they achieved a (well-suffered) victory over Lourosa, for the Portuguese Cup, but was defeated, at home, against Marítimo, in the first leg of the 1st round of the second phase of the League Cup.
