The photography exhibition “Small and Great Wonders of Nature”, by Alexis Morgan, which will be open to the public in various locations in the municipality of Loulé, starts this Saturday, September 7, at the Municipal Center of Quarteira.
This photographic exhibition portrays some botanical species and butterflies that can be found in the Local Protected Landscapes of Rocha da Pena and Fonte da Benémola, in the Municipality of Loulé.
In addition to Quarteira, where it can be visited until October 9, the exhibition has already been visible in Benafim and will then be open to the public in Almancil, Loulé, Boliqueime, Alte, Ameixial, Tôr, Salir and finally Querença, where it will remain as an exhibition permanent.
Alexis Mark Serra Guerreiro Morgan was born in London, England, in 1974. He studied at the Professional School of Management and Maritime Technologies where he took the Professional Course in Environmental and Natural Resources Management.
He currently works as an Environmental Technician in the Environment, Transport and Energy Division at the Loulé City Council and works in the Local Protected Landscapes of Rocha da Pena and Fonte Benémola, since 1996.
It was from this year on that he gained curiosity about plants, which later became a passion, which he managed to reproduce in photography that, just like his botanical knowledge, was perfected over the years.
