The International Delegation of Maritime Museums visited the Municipal Museum of Portimão yesterday, Sunday.
Following the International Congress of Maritime Museums (ICMM 2013), which this year took place in Portugal, the delegation used its last Sunday to visit the Algarve museum structure, which has been awarded several times at national and international level.
The visit was attended by the directors and managers of the National Maritime Museums of Australia, New Zealand, the Maritime Museum of Hong Kong, the Vasa Museum in Stockholm, the Aan de Stroom Museum in Antwerp and the King D. Carlos de Cascais Sea Museum, which were received by the director of the Portimão Museum, José Gameiro.
