The 24 Hours of the Track, a novelty in the celebrations for the closing of the competition cycling season, will take place on October 5th and 6th, in Tavira, on the track of the Gym Club of Tavira.
This event, which aims to broaden the range of cycling offer to lovers of the sport, is organized by the Tavira Cycling Club and is open to everyone.
«This is an unprecedented show in the city of Tavira that aims to be an attraction factor for a new audience. This radical race intends to launch the challenge of cycling for 24 consecutive hours, being the essence of the event», says the CCT in a press release.
The race will take place between noon on Saturday, the 5th, and noon on Sunday.
At the same time, and for the party to be a constant, entertainment is guaranteed, with live music, dancing, spinning, among other fun activities.
But the animation doesn't stop there! The party continues from 14:30 pm, on Sunday, the 6th, with the traditional Festival de Pista.
