Five of the candidates for the presidency of the Chamber of Faro, in the elections to be held on September 29, will participate in the debate «Faro: Financial and Territorial Management”, next Wednesday, September 18, at 21 pm, at Pátio de Letras. The initiative is organized by Livraria Leya no Pátio and will be moderated by the assistant secretary general of the National Association of Portuguese Municipalities Fernando Henrique Cruz.
According to the Faro bookstore, the presence of Rogério Bacalhau (PSD/CDS/PPM/MPT/MIM), Paulo Neves (PS), Vítor Ruivo (BE), António Mendonça (CDU) and José Vitorino (Independente) have already been confirmed. The presence of Vítor Silva is not, at least for now, planned.
“The debate is open to all citizens, and active participation of the public is expected during the period designated for questions to the candidates”, announced the organizers of the event.
