The independent application «Save Faro, with the Heart” will open the “Casa da Cidadania de Faro», on the 27th of August, at 19 pm. This space intends to be “for socializing and civic sharing”, within the “philosophy and according to the new concept of participation in Portugal that will be implemented in the autarchy”, if the movement led by José Vitorino is elected.
At the inauguration of the space, the candidate for president of the Chamber of Faro (place that José Vitorino occupied between 2001 and 2005, elected by the PSD), will speak on «the deep meaning of the act, for the future of Faro and a model for the permanent participation of citizens in public life». The initiative will also feature music, drinks and snacks.
«Civic associations were invited, candidates for the Save movement Faro and other distinguished personalities, all from the Municipality of Faro», added the independent candidacy to the Chamber of Faro.
