The Chamber of Silves announced the postponement of the lecture «Noras do Algarve» to the 12th of July, at 21 pm, at the Casa da Cultura Islâmica e Mediterrânica. The initiative was originally scheduled for next Thursday, July 5th.

This lecture, which is free to enter, intends to address and demonstrate the Arab influence on the Noras that exist in the Algarve and make known this architectural heritage so characteristic of the region. The guest speaker is Isabel Blaser, a landscape architect with 20 years of experience.

«Of Swiss origin, he studied Arts in Zurich and History of Art in Basel, having a vast experience in projects for the landscaping of schools, games parks, remodeling of urban cemeteries, gardens, etc. She was a professor at the Faculty of Landscape Architecture at the Technical University of Rapperswil / Zurich, and collaborator in the writing of a landscape architecture magazine.
