Music and Street Theater arrive at Jardim de Grândola on Fridays, from 22 pm. Saturday mornings are reserved for children's entertainment. It is another edition of the Summer Animation, outdoors, at Jardim 00º de Maio, in that Alentejo city. Not to be missed on weekends, until the 1th of July.

This Friday, July 12th, at 22 pm, there is traditional Portuguese music with Grupo Terra, from Castro Verde. Piano, guitar and electric bass frame the voices and reinterpret sounds that evoke the poetics of the South, of being in the South.

António César, José Rego, Filipe Pratas and Miguel Rego form this new group where three generations intersect and where music is the pretext for their meeting. Since 2012, they have been building new sounds on popular themes from Alentejo.

On Saturday the 13th, at 11 am, The World of Spectacle presents “Bem Me Quer, Mal Me Quer” a play with puppets inspired by the short story by Guerra Junqueiro.

“In the countryside, by the road, there was a very beautiful house, with a garden full of flowers, where a small marigold grew… He lived contentedly, feeling the heat of the sun and listening to the lark singing. But one day, the lark stopped singing…And the marigold stopped smiling. Why has the lark stopped singing? And the marigold, will it be able to help your new friend?”

The summer entertainment at Jardim 1º de Maio is free.
