Giant sardine cans, painted in a thousand and one colors, make up the exhibition of works carried out by the “small male and female workers” who participated in the 2013 Summer Vacation at the Museum of Portimão, which opens on August 1st.

About 125 young participants this year had the opportunity to experience, at the Museum, various educational activities of a playful nature, related to the universe of fish cans, in order to stimulate their creativity, capacity for expression and group work .

This special program for the occupation of free time was promoted by the team from the Educational Workshop of the Museum of Portimão with children between 7 and 12 years old, divided into five shifts.

The exhibition “As Latas das 1001 Colors”, with the final result of this enriching experience, can be seen until 29 September.
