The next Thursday is the last of the month of July, which means that it is the day of the Board Games Meeting at the headquarters of the Recreational and Cultural Association of Musicians, in Faro. Anyone interested can join and bring their own board games.

On the last Thursday of each month, ARCM opens its doors to non-electronic game fans, with the aim of «gathering and promoting interaction between board game players and making this activity known to new players», according to the association.

Despite the name, the existence of a board is not mandatory, and the games can be «only cards, miniatures, Role Playing Game (RPG) and Collectible Card Game (CCG)». Admission is free and you don't even need to know the rules of all the games, as “there will always be someone willing to explain them”.
