The Left Block/Algarve demanded this Wednesday the revocation of the decision to eliminate Sunday from the hours of continued care, taken by ARS Algarve. BE has already questioned the Minister of Health about the reasons that led to this decision and wants it to go back.
«ARS do Algarve changed the schedules of the integrated continuing care teams, eliminating Sunday in the provision of healthcare. The application of this measure seriously harms all users who need health care on Sunday as well as misrepresenting the objectives of home care units», explained the blockists.
"For the Left Block, this decision must be immediately revoked and the home support teams must be provided with conditions to work throughout the week, providing users with all the health care they need", concludes the same party, in a press release.
