The old cemetery of Cacela Velha will host on Saturday, June 29, at 18:30 pm, a concert of the cycle «Música nos Monumentos», which will highlight works by Mozart, A. Reicha and Haydn, played by a wind quintet of musicians from the Orquestra do Algarve.

This is yet another show as part of the initiative organized by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve and the Orquestra do Algarve (OA), which, in a café-concert style, will play classical music «in the heart of the heritage of one of the most emblematic historical places of the Algarve, uniting culture and heritage in a perfect symbiosis», according to the City Council of Vila Real de Santo António (VRSA).

The concert will last 40 minutes and includes works by WA Mozart, A. Reicha and FJ Haydn and the ticket costs 5 euros. “Before the show, there will be a historical presentation of the site, conducted by archeologist Catarina Oliveira”, revealed the municipality, in a press release.
