Manuel Cajuda is no longer Olhanense's coach since this morning, Wednesday, after the club and coach reached an agreement for an amicable termination.

Tomorrow, “there will have to be” a new coach to guide the morning's training, a solution that the board of the Olhão club will try to find “this afternoon,” Olhanense president Isidoro Sousa told reporters.

The decision to end the contract came from the direction, which is trying to “save” the final end of the championship, in which the team is now below the waterline, with only three rounds to go.

Despite having been the management that took the initiative, Manuela Cajuda had already “made the place available” some time ago, revealed Isidoro Sousa. The management did not accept that the technician left, in the first phase, but ended up moving towards the dismissal, a decision presented to the technical team in a meeting that took place this morning.

“The president told me that he intended to make one last attempt to avoid relegation and I want the club to be saved. If it costs a lot and if it harms me? Of course, but the salvation of Olhanense is the most important thing. I'll be from Olhão until I die… I didn't ask to come but I don't regret having accepted the invitation to return to the club of my heart», revealed the coach to Jornal Record.

Isidoro Sousa also said, in relation to the future coach, that he already has "a package" of names and that since the departure of Cajuda was made public "there have been many requests". Lito Vidigal will be part of that list, admitted, a free coach who yesterday abandoned the command of Libyan club Al Ittihad.
