The seminar “Strategies that make a mark” will take place at the ESGHT - Superior School of Hotel Management and Tourism of the University of Algarve, at Campus da Penha, in Faro, on the 10th of April, between 14 pm and 19 pm.

The seminar, according to Carla Machado, Marketing professor at ESGHT and one of the organizers, «has the objective of addressing the importance of studying trends as a way to help companies innovate».

On the other hand, it intends to «show examples of companies in the Algarve that offer differentiating services and products and that, in some way, have found strategies to continue to grow and innovate their offer».

The speakers will be businessmen António Ferreira, from Aldeia da Pedralva, Franco Lorenzi, from Nosolo Grupo, Rui Virgínia, from Quinta do Barranco Longo, Isabel Camões, from SPIC, and also Rui Rodrigues, from Herança Rural.

An expert in marketing, trends and innovation also takes part, namely Luis Rasquilha, from AYR, an international strategic innovation consultant, whose main “raw material” is Consumer Trends and Mentalities, observed and validated by a worldwide network of Coolhunters and specialists in Trends.

In principle, this speaker will make a video-conference (via skype) as he is in Brazil and did not get a flight to be here on the 10th.

In parallel, there will be an exhibition and tasting of some companies in the region.

Registration is free and can be done here.
