The Peddy Paper «Cumeada de Alta Mora» will animate Corte Pequena, in the municipality of Castro Marim, on Sunday.
In 2013, there are 48 teams registered and a total of 270 participants, who will cover a 7-kilometer route around the town, starting at 9:30 am.
The initiative of the Association, Cultural and Sports of Friends of Alta Mora (ARCDAA), which takes place for the 10th consecutive year, foresees «the holding of various traditional games, arts and crafts and local knowledge, testing the knowledge and wit of the competitors », said the Chamber of Castro Marim.
According to ARCDAA, the Peddy Paper, which ends with a social lunch for participants and the delivery of prizes, «is intended to promote physical activity and enhance the natural environment and the panoramic aspects of the parish of Odeleite».
The XNUMXth Edition of the Peddy Paper at “Cumeada de Alta Mora” has the support of the municipal councils of Castro Marim and Alcoutim and the collaboration of the Odiana Association, the Center for Culture and Sports of the Municipal Staff (CCD) and the Alcoutim Volunteer Firefighters.
