António Raposo, from O2 Portimão, once again climbed to the top of the podium in his class (Veterano 4) with a time of 1:06:22, in the Quarteira Triathlon/National Team Championship, which was disputed yesterday with the participation of 239 athletes.
From the Portimão team, Nuno Fernandes (Senior) was 18th with 1:04:21, Paulo Sousa (Veteran 1) 12th, with a time of 1:13:45, Pedro Rodrigues (Veteran 1) 20th with 1:20:28 , Ana Ribeiro Sanches (Senior), 16th, with 1:22:50 and Ana Sanches (Veteran 1) with 1:32:21.
The men's team from Portimão was also ranked 17th among the 23 participating teams.
The next O2 – Portimão competition is on the 5th of May, at Aquatlo, a National Championship for age groups that takes place in Setúbal.
O2 Portimão makes a «special thanks» to Europcar, which «supports our team with transport, without which it would be very difficult for us to participate in the National Triathlon Championships».
