Albufeira will celebrate World Music Day, which is celebrated tomorrow, Monday, with a show by Fuete – Albufeira Dance Association, which the Municipal Auditorium will receive from 21 pm. Admission is free.
The Albufeira Dance Association, founded in 2005 by professional teachers and choreographers, offers young people in the municipality disciplines in the areas of Classical Dance, Contemporary Dance and Tap Dance.
An association that «since the beginning of its activity has been striving for cultural development, artistic education and the training of its students in the various forms of the performing arts», illustrated in a press release the Câmara de Albufeira, which supports the event.
«The public in Albufeira already knows them well, thanks to the various performances they have presented over the years in the Auditorium and other cultural facilities in the municipality», reinforced the municipality.
World Dance Day was instituted in 1982 by the International Dance Committee (CID) of Unesco to mark the birth of Jean-Georges Noverre (XNUMXth century), who was one of the great names in dance worldwide. The main objective is to celebrate art and show its universality.
