Teatro Mascarenhas Gregório presents on March 17, at 21 pm, a jazz evening with the Trufts Jazz Big Band. The event, part of the concert cycle “Jazz com Todos”, is promoted by the Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve (OJA) and has the support of the Municipality of Silves.
On this night, the approximately three dozen musicians of this American big band, originally from Boston, present a repertoire of jazz, Afrocuban and Latin jazz, interpreting works by Charles Mingus, Richard Rogers, Cy Coleman, Joe Gallardo, among other great names.
Admission is free.
This cycle consists of two more shows: one in Almancil with the presence of OJA and another to be held on March 24, again in Silves, at SAS27 bar, where a jam session will be held with teachers and students from Ateliê de Jazz and Modern Music of the Algarve.
