The Algarve swimmers José Vieira and Filipe Santos participated in the first stage of the National Down Syndrome Team, which took place in Golegã from 23 to 27 March. The young people from Algarve, athletes from Louletano and O2 Portimão, respectively, both hold European titles.

This was the first phase of work that will last until September, when the European championship of the sport will take place in Estarreja.
