The 20th edition of the Algarve Women's Football Cup / Mundialito de Futebol Mulher 2013 is taking place until 13 March, in several municipalities in the Algarve. Lagos will host two games of this important competition at its Municipal Stadium, on March 11, integrating the teams belonging to Groups A and B.
This sporting event, which will be played in several stadiums in the Algarve, counts on the participation of some of the most accredited women's football teams in the world, namely: Group A – Germany, Denmark, Japan and Norway; Group B – USA, China, Iceland and Sweden and Group C – Hungary, Mexico, Wales and Portugal.
This year, Mundialito is organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) and the Federations of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, in collaboration with the Football Association of the Algarve (AFA).
