With the usual organization of the Municipality of Mora, the village will celebrate this year the International Women's Day for three days, highlighting the offer by the municipality of a thousand flowers to as many women.

On the morning of Friday, March 8, dozens of collaborators from various public institutions in Mora will freely distribute 3 flowers to XNUMX women in the county's streets, elderly homes and other places in the county.

Later in the evening, the “100 Years of MDM” Exhibition (Women's Democratic Movement) opens at the village's Casa da Cultura, an exhibition dedicated to the struggle for women's equality. Actress Lídia Franco ends this first day with the play “Oscar and the Pink Lady”.

For the 9th, Saturday, Mora offers visitors a “Fair – Craft Show” and lots of entertainment with outdoor activities – Aerobics, Body Power and yoga classes – and folklore performances. After dinner, you can listen to the “Vozes no Feminine” by the Mora School Orchestra.

The most “radical” day was reserved for Sunday, with a Women's Paint Ball tournament, where all the equipment and 100 “bullets” are offered for an afternoon full of adrenaline. At the Playground of Holes da Pereira, from 14:00.
