The Municipality of Alcoutim approved today, at a local council meeting, the opening of a tender for two new contracts for the improvement of the municipality's roads, namely two sections of Estrada Municipal 507.
For the section Giões/Farelos/Tesouro/Estrada Municipal 124 an investment of around 520.000 euros is foreseen and for the section Pereiro/Serro da Vinha/Santa Marta it is estimated a cost of around 00 euros. After its start in the middle of the current year, the works should be completed in 430.000,00 months. In both cases, paving and signaling work will be carried out.
Alcoutim City Council defined the road network as an area of primary investment in the 2013 budget, considering that this is one of the pillars for municipal development. In the 2013 budget, the road network represents a total investment of €2.500.000,00.
