Vila Joya (Albufeira) received the Oscar of «Best Boutique Resort in the World», while Conrad Algarve (Loulé) is the «Best New Resort in the World».
The World Travel Awards, considered as the Oscars of world tourism, were delivered last night at a ceremony in New Delhi, India.
Already in 2011 Vila Joya had received the same distinction in the WTA.
In addition to the two Algarve luxury resorts, from Portugal only TAP also won an award, having been considered the Best Airline Company for South America.
