Tavira will be full of culture on the weekend before Christmas. Music and Cinema, guaranteed by various cultural agents in the city, will be highlighted today, Saturday and tomorrow, in different places in the city.
This Saturday, at 18 pm, the Pousada da Graça Chapel hosts a show of fate with Sara Gonçalves (vocals), Virgílio Lança (viola) and Miguel Drag (Portuguese guitar), in an organization of the Academy of Music of Tavira, within the scope of Music in Churches program.
Tonight, at 21 pm, Igreja do Carmo hosts the Christmas Concert by the Grupo Coral de Tavira, directed by Carlos Filipe Sousa and João António de Almeida at the piano. At 30 pm, a concert by saxophonist Filipe Barragão will start at Bar Almariado, in Tavira.
On Sunday, the party continues in the morning at the headquarters of the minArifa association, with a small craft market that will last until 17 pm.
At 21 pm, the film “Les Enfants du Paradis (The Boys of General)”, by Marcel Carné, an initiative of the Cineclube de Tavira with free admission, will be screened at the Cineteatro de Tavira.
