Portimão will host four Christmas concerts on the 20th and 22nd of December, which will bring the typical music of this festive season to various parishes in the municipality, in an initiative promoted by the local authority.
The first Christmas Concert will take place on December 20, Thursday, at 19 pm, at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes, in Portimão, with the participation of Grupo Coral Adágio.
On December 22, a Saturday, Sociedade Filarmónica Portimonense will perform at TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão from 16 pm onwards.
Also at 16 pm, the Atlântida Quartet, from the Conservatory of Music of Portimão, will begin its concert at the Igreja Matriz in Alvor, while at 21 pm the Christmas Concert will start at the Church of Mexilhoeira Grande by the Armilar Quartet, which is also part of that Conservatory.
