Nadja Velez and Telma Franco, a pair of Biology students at the University of Algarve, won the national final of the ANEBioQuiz 2012 biological culture contest, which took place on December 22 at the Instituto Superior de Agronomia, in Lisbon.
José de Matos, vice president of the Order of Biologists, and José Seco, president of the National Association of Biology Students (ANEBio), presided over the final.
This activity is a product of ANEBio's organization, having participated in the national final, in addition to Algarve students, pairs from the University of Minho, University of Trás-Os-Montes-e-Alto-Douro, University of Coimbra and Instituto Superior de Agronomia.
