On January 1st, if you arrive at Praia do Pintadinho, in Ferragudo, and come across a bunch of people in the water, don't be surprised. This is just the VII Bath in the Sea of Ferragudo, scheduled for 11:00 am.
The already traditional bath on the 1st of January has been gathering more and more fans and it is expected that the number of participants will be doubled.
This year, given the lack of support, participants will only receive the usual allusive T-shirt, offered by the Parish Council of Ferragudo, as well as hot cocoa, a nice offer from the Pintadinho restaurant.
There will also be a collection of donations for the Elderly Support Center, which is not mandatory, but which aims to support the activities of this IPSS.
This initiative is the result of the support given to the idea of doctor Piçarra Ramos by various personalities in public life in Lagoa, such as Rádio Lagoa, which the Parish Council knew early on to sponsor.
