The municipality of São Brás de Alportel is going to award Scholarships to highly successful Higher Education students who have lived in the municipality for more than three years, to help their families' economy. Applications are open until November 30th, next Friday.
Young candidates should go to the Social Services of the City Council, based in the building of the Community Support Center, at Rua Serpa Pinto, nº 29 to fill in the application form, as well as be accompanied by the documents required by regulation.
The requirements for accessing this incentive are, in addition to being a resident for more than three years, having an average application for Higher Education of no less than 14 points, having entered Higher Education after 2011/12, attending a public university and belonging to a household whose per capita income is equal to or less than the minimum wage.
Applicants cannot benefit from any other scholarship or equivalent subsidy or have qualifications or courses equivalent to the one they intend to attend.
The value of the scholarships and the number of supports to be awarded will only be stipulated after the applications have been received.
