Olhanense beat Beira-Mar by one to zero, in a game played today, Sunday, at Estádio José Arcanjo, in Olhão. The only goal of the match was scored by Abdi, in the 29th minute. A fair victory for the Algarve team, especially for the first part, in which they dominated the game.

The match was also marked by two expulsions, one for each side and both in the second half of the game. Beira Mar were the first to see a player sent off, Collet, for accumulation of yellow cards, in the 56th minute. At 69, it was André Micael's turn to go to the dressing room earlier, but with a direct red card, after the referee considered that a player from Aveiro's team who was going to isolate himself in front of the goalkeeper had failed.

With this victory, Olhanense fled to the waterline and went on to add 10 points in 9 games, currently being in 8th place as part of the Zon Sagres League, with the same points as Vitória de Setúbal, which has one game less. Beira-Mar is now in the 16th and last position of the league table.
