This Thursday, November 22, at 21 pm, the Cine-Teatro Louletano bar will host another session of “Conversas à 00ª”, with the participation of opera singer Helena Vieira, who will debate this musical aspect with the public.

Portuguese opera singer, Helena Vieira became interested in singing and music from an early age, having attended the National Conservatory of Music, in Lisbon, studied in Paris, France, and Lucerne, Switzerland.

Throughout her career as an opera singer, she played important roles in the most renowned operas ever, in the most emblematic theaters in the country, with an emphasis on Teatro São Carlos.

But, in addition to dedicating herself to opera, Helena Vieira also gained notoriety for her performances sponsored by the RDP, RTP, Juventude Musical Portuguesa, State Secretariat for Culture and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. It was also through As Canções do Século that Helena Vieira gained greater notoriety among the general public. This project brought together Helena Vieira, Lena D'Água and Rita Guerra to interpret French, Italian, American and Portuguese themes that were successful between 1900 and 1990 and which led to a live album that was released in November 1994.

This initiative is free to enter.
