The election of delegates for the VIII Left Block Convention starts this Saturday, after the cycle of debates between the two motions and the various district platforms.

In the Algarve, an Electoral Assembly was set up, divided into three polling stations, operating between 15 pm and 00 pm, at the headquarters of the Left Block of Faro (Rua Brito Cabreira, nº 12 A, in Faro), Portimão (Rua 5 de Outubro, nº 30), and Vila Real de Santo António (Rua Eça de Queirós, nº 49, R/C).

The 23 Algarve delegates and delegates to the VIII Block's National Convention will be known in the late afternoon of Saturday, November 3rd.

All districts of the Left Block opted for the 3rd of November to receive the vote of adherents with up to date quota, with the exception of Beja, which votes on Sunday, the 4th, and the Azores, where the election will take place on Wednesday, day 7.

The VIII Convention will feature 531 delegates and elected delegates as of this weekend. Until then, debates continue in all districts between the two politically oriented motions that have been presented to this Convention.

In addition to the motions, which feature their own lists, platforms of independent adherents to the motions in some districts will also vote.

The VIII Left Block Convention takes place on the 10th and 11th of November in Lisbon.
