Highlighting the potential for commercialization of knowledge produced in the Algarve region is the main objective of the «Inovar Algarve» initiative, promoted by CRIA-Division of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the University of Algarve.

An event divided into two very distinct moments, the first of which will take place between December 5th and 7th. The Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve is hosting a Cycle of Conferences that will touch on the most diverse areas of activity and which aims to encourage discussion around Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer and, at the same time, promote cooperation between entrepreneurs, companies and researchers.

This cycle will be complemented with an Innovation Fair that CRIA will organize on January 31st and February 1st, 2013.

The upcoming conference cycle, and for which registration is now open, will have a theme for each of the three days that the event lasts. The chosen themes are «Valuing Knowledge», «University of the Algarve as a Vehicle of Innovation» and «Repositioning of R&D Units».
