The new bar space at Pátio de Letras, the «Barti Café», will open on Friday, the 26th, at 18 pm. This initiative marks a new life of this complementary service in the bookstore/cultural space of Faro, after renovation works and under new management, by the brothers Pedro and Tiago Bartilotti.
The new people responsible for the space already manage other establishments in Faro, namely the bar «Os Artistas» and the «Espaço C», in the Teatro das Figuras. The name «Barti Café» is, moreover, a reference to the family name of the two brothers, by which they are best known in Faro.
Second revealed to Sul Informação Pedro Bartilotti the partnership he entered into with Pátio de Letras intends to «take advantage of and reinforce the cultural program that is already done» in this cultural space. The Pátio de Letras has as its central element the Livraria Leya no Pátio, but it hosts various initiatives, from presentations of books by renowned authors to gatherings and poetry sessions, among others.
«At the level of the Bar, we want to keep customers who have already come here and open space for a new audience, namely people between 40 and 70 who are interested in cultural issues and who have very little offer in the city of Faro», he added.
