The Portuguese Association of Women Scientists (AMONET) will meet, on October 8, from 14:30 pm to 16:30 pm, in the seminar room of the Rectory of the University of Algarve, on the Campus de Gambelas, in Faro, to debate and reflect on the association's principles and actions.

The initiative is open to the entire scientific community.

In addition to the president of AMONET, Maria João Bebiano, full professor at UAlg, this roundtable will feature the participation of researchers from various fields of knowledge.

Thus, present will be Ana Lobo, full professor at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, representing the Association, Alexandra Cunha, president of the Nature Protection League, Prêmio Activa 2012 and researcher at the Center for Marine Sciences of the University of Algarve, Olga Fonseca, PhD in Traditional Literature for Children and professor at the University of Algarve, and Maria Margarida Ribau Teixeira, PhD in Environmental Engineering and professor at the University of Algarve.
