“Challenges without a network”, is the title of one of the challenges launched to all participants of the 9th Regional Environmental Education Meeting of the Algarve, which will take place at Zoomarine, between October 19th and 21st, on the theme “Education for Conservation – The Exodus in Context”.

In this way, it encourages the participation of creative minds who wish/like to share their experiences in the national context of Environmental Education.

The event also has the special contribution of. Ian Bride, specialist in Conservation Education, who will share some of his experience in the communication “Environmental Education: a tool for an end or an end in itself”.

Organized by Associação Almargem, in partnership with Zoomarine, this meeting is aimed at the universe of environmental educators, teachers from the Algarve region and beyond, being a unique opportunity to challenge some of the paradigms of current Environmental Education, focusing metaphorically (or no) in the process of knowledge migration we call learning.

But the dogmatic challenge certainly does not end here. Through the screening of the documentary “Play Again”, which explores the growing distancing of younger generations from those fundamental and striking experiences of nature, the discussion will be launched to all participants.

Registration is open (http://almargem.org/ereaa/).
