The requalification work of the Laranjeiras wharf, in the parish of Alcoutim, has already been completed. The village can now enjoy a wide and pleasant space, more modern and attractive, in what the Municipality of Alcoutim classifies as “a clear commitment to local and tourist development”.
The landscaping included the creation of more shaded areas, a pedestrian path, a playground area and the installation of a kiosk, with restrooms, terrace and picnic area (equipped with stoves).
The new pier is now better prepared and more attractive to receive visitors, tourists and yachtsmen.
The work cost the Municipality of Alcoutim around 100.000 euros.
