Culture, with the color that characterizes the students of the University of Algarve, will once again roam free in Vila-Adentro de Faro, on September 29, at the 2nd edition of Noite Azul. Street shows, concerts, academic tunas, choral groups, short films, theater are some of the activities highlighted in this event.

In addition to activities with a more playful nature, there will also be «several stands for handicrafts, recycling materials, confection of natural products and social solidarity», according to the organization, in charge of the Academic Association of the University of Algarve (AAUAlg) and Radio Universitária of the Algarve RUA FM.

The official closing of Rita Adolff's painting exhibition at the Municipal Museum, a fado moment with Sara Gonçalves and guitarist José Alegre and the performance of the band “Bad Luck n'Trouble” on the main stage are also part of the program.

«Distributed by seven action zones that will culminate in the square in front of the City Hall of Faro and at Largo D. Afonso III, “II Noite Azul” intends to further enhance the involvement of institutions, companies and associations in the region, as well as the autonomous sections of AAUAlg, creating a network of synergies that will shine alongside the color it will wear the City,” said AAUAlg in a statement.

The initiative has the support of the City Council of Faro, Parish Council of S. Pedro, Municipal Museum of Faro and AnFaro.
