Portimonense this afternoon beat Sporting de Braga B, away from home, and added their third consecutive victory in the II League. Alvinegros beat Arsenalistas 2-1, with goals from Erick and Márcio Madeira, both in the first half.

The first goal of the game came in the 36th minute. Erick, on the edge of the area, shot low and beat Cavadas goalkeeper for the first time.

Portimonense did not take his foot off the accelerator and scored again in the 43rd minute. Márcio Madeira shot strong and placed and made it 2-0.

Braga B reduced in the 48th minute, right at the start of the second half. Eduardo, in a free-kick, made it 2-1 for the Cidade dos Arcebispos team.

With this victory, Portimonense added the 10th point in the II Liga in six games.
