São Brás de Alportel promotes, between August 31 and September 2, another happy meeting between the Stock Out Sale Fair and the traditional September Festival and Fair, which together promise quality products at unbeatable prices and an entertainment program for all the family.
The 2nd edition of the Summer Sale Fair – Stock Out 2012 returns to Jardim Carrera Viegas, in the heart of the urban center of São Brás de Alportel, on August 31, September 1 and 2, with several dozen exhibitors, artisans and local producers , as a result of a partnership between the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel and ACRAL – Association of Commerce and Services of the Algarve Region, with the support of the Parish Council, Associação Amigos do Museu, Deco, Unidos da Estrada, Producers and Local Artisans and Local Business Establishments.
Composed of several spaces, Stock Out counts with the participation of several Local Commerce establishments in the Commercial Space; lots of adventures and mischief in Children's Animation Space; various handicraft and locally produced products at the Craftsmen and Producers Space; lots of games in the Traditional Games Space; a world of delicious snacks at Espaço Sabores and lots of musical entertainment.
Stock out São Brás 2012 starts on Friday, August 31st, with a popular ball enhanced by the artist Luis José. a few months joins several generations around these arts and crafts, in a rediscovery by old knowledge, under the guidance of São Brasenses Teresa Gonçalves and Mariana Prates. This initiative, which started with small sewing tips, quickly became a true meeting point for clothing, leading to the creation of several original pieces.
The first day of September reserves a set of activities for all ages. At 15:00, the Malha Tournament, organized in partnership with the Parish Council, promises to remember the old times of interaction around this traditional game. This will be followed by 18:00, a Senior Gymnastics Demonstration, Seniors in Motion Project and an Open Zumba Class, at 19:00. Music and dance continue to liven up the night at the Baile Popular with Hélder Alves and closes with the sound of music from the world of the Edu Miranda Trio.
On Sunday 2nd, Stock Out joins the traditional September Fair and marks a meeting between innovation and tradition at Jardim Carrera Viegas and Parque Roberto Nobre. The diversity of products from the local Commerce and the innovations of contemporary crafts are joined by the typical marketers with an endless number of products that maintain the tradition of the September Fair. Always held on the first Sunday of September, this fair is part of the history and memories of the people of São Brás de Alportel.
This special day invites you to celebrate the past and present through dance and music. The Salsa Demonstration, with the participation of Escuela Cubana de Dança – cover Libre – starts the day's performances, at 18:00, which will continue with traditional Portuguese music by the group Veredas da Memória, at 18:30. The entertainment continues at 19:15 pm with a concert starring Duo Nuno Martins and Adriana Gonçalves, a duo of young people from São Paulo that promises a lot of music and a good mood.
